Chocolate Chai

Quick and easy, one pan wonders or as Ricki puts it, flash in the pan.  As we are trying to get our house in condition to sell, I find myself unable to make grand concoctions, because then there are too many pans.  So my attention for the next few months will tend toward the quick and easy.  And that’s why that’ll be the theme of MPM for Monday the 14th.

Chocolate Chai

1 mug hot water
1 chai tea bag
splash of hemp milk (optional)
1 heaping TBSP cocoa powder
10 or so drops stevia extract
2 tsp honey

Steep the chai for 5-6 min, add other ingredients and stir.

Simple, yes?

About Cheryl Harris

Life played a funny trick on me. I've studied nutrition for years, and much to my surprise, found out that I could manage many of my health issues via diet. I've been GF for years, and I've got a bunch of allergies and sensitivities. But it definitely doesn't keep me from cooking, baking and enjoying my food. Thanks for stopping by.

Hmmm, wonder why I haven’t thought about adding a little cocoa to my chai…could be dangerous!

Sounds wonderful! And hope the house-prep goes smoothly! 🙂

This is wonderful and it smells fantastic. I used coconut milk instead of hemp. I uses the powder packets of stevia and one of those goes a long way!

  5. Margareth says:

Indeed, Kevin is right. The use of coconut milk enhances the taste.

  6. Really enjoyed the blog post, thanks.
